Bitfarms announced plans to wind down its Bitcoin mining operations over the next two years and convert its facilities into artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) data centers. The company said its 18-megawatt Bitcoin mining site in Washington will be the first to complete the transition by December 2026, fully dedicated to supporting AI and HPC operations.
