'This is a family event:' Witness reacts to shots fired during Christmas tree lighting

A very chaotic scene. Our photographer Pierre Simmons was out here covering that tree lighting event when shots rang out. Several shots and he also saw thousands of people taking off running.This is where that event took place. And you can see right there that people were so scared they left their items behind.
