Olympic flame reaches Italy as part of relay toward Milan Cortina 2026 Games

Olympic flame was handed over to the president of the Italian Olympics committee during a ceremony in Athens who then carried it on a plane to here in Rome or perhaps a rare occasion where a flammable object is allowed on a plane. Now the first stop of the torch this evening is the presidential palace uh where it will be received of course by the Italian president Sergio Materella.
