CDC panel upends decades-long Hepatitis B vaccine recommendation

The CDC's vaccine panel just voted to no longer recommend universal vaccination of newborns with a hepatitis B vaccine. We've been doing this for decades in the United States because babies exposed to hepatitis B right after birth, 90% of them go on to develop chronic liver disease.
