A key committee voted today to send President Trump's Homeland Security nominee Mark Wayne Mullen to the full Senate floor. It happened after Democrat John Federman broke with other Democrats to vote yes. Republican Senator Ran Paul also broke with his party and voted no.Mullen was nominated by the president after the Trump administration fired former DHS leader Christy Gnome earlier this month.
