RT Nick Szabo (@NickSzabo4)Quite wrong. The reality is rather this:(1) Iran itself is already working to "reopen" Hormuz. They too want to sell their oil. Hormuz is open to all ships that agree to follow Iran's rules. China has already agreed and many other nations are negotiating passage.(2) It would take decades to build pipelines to fully replace Hormuz tankers, and the expense would be greater than any toll Iran is likely to charge ...
