Former special counsel Robert Mueller dies at 81

Former special counsel Robert Müller has died at the age of 81. A spokesperson from Müller's longtime law firm Wilmer Hail confirmed his death in a statement. Müller led the investigation that concluded Russia interfered in the 2016 election with the intent of helping then candidate Donald Trump. Müller concluded in his report at the time that he could neither accuse nor absolve Trump of a crime.Müller also served as a director of the FBI for more than a decade.
