Ex-staffer accuses California Congressman Eric Swalwell of sexual assault

MS NOW has confirmed that a former staff member is accusing California Congressman and gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell of sexual assault. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the woman alleges Swalwell assaulted her twice when she was too intoxicated to give consent. The newspaper says it confirmed parts of her story by speaking with family and friends who say they heard about the alleged incidents at the time.
