DOJ drops criminal probe of Fed Chair Powell

Sarah Janine Piro says she's dropping her investigation uh looking at Jay Powell and the Federal Reserve construction. Uh the US attorney for the District of Columbia posting on social media just a couple of minutes ago. Uh she says this morning the inspector general for the Federal Reserve has been asked to scrutinize the building cost overruns in the billions of dollars that have been borne by taxpayers.The IG has the authority to hold the Federal Reserve accountable to American taxpayers.
