Market Open: Stocks Higher, Dow Tops 53K; LVMH Gets Taylor-Travis Lift • 7/6/26

I'm Jessica Edinger, CNBC. Wall Street turned mixed less than 15 minutes after the open. The Dow popped above 53,000 for the very first time this morning, touching a fresh intraday record high.And then it pulled back. It's down 31 points. Verizon shares leading it lower.They're down more than 3% this morning. The S&P 500 index up 33 almost a half percent. The Nasdaq up 236 points.That's 9/10en of 1%.
