Shares dip after American Express reports revenue miss in second quarter

Results just coming out from American [music] Express. Here's the earnings report. They earned $4.53% per share, topped consensus estimates of 440.The company pointing to higher spending among its credit card members. Card member spending increasing 9%, the highest growth rate in 3 years, and revenue net of interest expense rising 10%. That's to $19.6% billion. That's slightly below Wall Street's estimate of $19.7% billion. ...
