Group 1 - The Central Meteorological Administration issued a yellow rainstorm warning, predicting heavy to torrential rain in parts of southern Shandong Peninsula, northern Jiangsu, central Anhui, eastern and southern Hubei, northern Hunan, southeastern Chongqing, northeastern to southwestern Guizhou, southeastern Yunnan, and southwestern Guangdong, with localized areas in southwestern Guizhou, southeastern Yunnan, and coastal regions of Guangxi expected to experience extreme rain (100-180 mm) [1] - The forecast includes short-term heavy rainfall with maximum hourly precipitation of 20-50 mm, and localized areas may exceed 60 mm, along with strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds [1] Group 2 - A blue warning for severe convective weather was also issued, indicating that parts of Huanghuai, Jianghuai, southern South China, and the northwest regions will experience thunderstorms with winds exceeding 8 levels, with some areas in eastern Anhui and central Jiangsu potentially facing winds above level 10, and maximum wind speeds could reach level 11 [4] - There is a possibility of tornadoes in localized areas of eastern Anhui and central Jiangsu, with short-term heavy rainfall expected in parts of Jianghuai, Huanghuai, Jiangnan, southwestern regions, South China, and the northwest, with hourly rainfall exceeding 20 mm, and some areas in eastern Anhui, central and southern Jiangsu, northern Zhejiang, northern Jiangxi, southern Guangxi, and southwestern Guangdong may see hourly rainfall exceeding 50 mm, with maximums potentially over 70 mm [4] Group 3 - Traffic management departments are advised to implement traffic control measures in areas with heavy rainfall and guide traffic in flooded areas [6] - It is recommended to cut off outdoor power sources in low-lying areas that are at risk, suspend outdoor work in open areas, and relocate individuals from dangerous zones and unsafe housing to safe places to avoid rain [6] - There should be inspections of drainage systems in cities, farmland, and fish ponds, along with necessary flood drainage measures [6]
