Group 2: Technical Innovations - The undersea cable has been developed through collaboration among the Southern Power Grid Scientific Research Institute, Guangxi Electric Power Company, Zhejiang Wanma Polymer Materials Group, and Jiangsu Hengtong High Voltage Cable Co., Ltd., achieving significant breakthroughs in domestic cable insulation technology [3]. - The project will end the "isolated network operation" of Weizhou Island, allowing for 24-hour access to the mainland power grid and addressing the island's insufficient public power supply [3].
