Group 2: Unconventional Oil and Gas Exploration - In the western Hubei region, a breakthrough in unconventional oil and gas exploration has been achieved, focusing on the Permian shale formation, which expands the exploration of shale gas from the Sichuan Basin to this new area [1]. - The newly identified geological resource of shale gas amounts to 1329.5 billion cubic meters, reinforcing the resource foundation for the shale gas base in western Hubei [1].
