Group 1 - The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) expresses serious concern over the recent tragic events in the Islamic Republic of Iran, which resulted in casualties among civilians and law enforcement personnel, as well as damage to civilian infrastructure [2] - The SCO extends deep condolences to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran [2] - The organization believes that unilateral sanctions severely harm the economic stability of the country, negatively impacting the well-being of its citizens and objectively weakening the Iranian government's ability to ensure socio-economic development [2] Group 2 - The SCO opposes interference in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and adheres to the principles of respecting the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of all countries [2] - The organization is against the use of force or threats of force in international relations and calls for a peaceful resolution of the current situation through political and diplomatic means [2]
