Cotton price action is up 10 to 15 points so far on Wednesday. Futures posted a stronger Tuesday trade, with contracts closing 40 to 45 points higher. Crude oil futures were 46 cents per barrel higher at $58.47. The US dollar index was back down $0.364 to $97.590. The markets will be closed on Thursday for Christmas, with an early close for Tuesday. Cotton price action is up 36 to 51 points so far on Thursday. Futures posted Wednesday losses of 27 to 61 points at the close. Crude oil futures are back down $1.15 per barrel to $59.59 on the day, with the US dollar index $0.606 higher to $100.055.
