[Applause] It was August 8th, 2008, my 40th birthday. My husband and I were celebrating my birthday at our favorite Indian restaurant with a few friends of ours. Amid the smell of curry, cardamom, and garlic, we ordered our food.And while we were waiting for it to arrive, my friend opened her purse and presented some homemade chocolate chip cookies.
