The thing about the fashion change reminds me of one of my all-time favorite bubbles, market bubbles, which was the ostrich feather bubble in the 1800s where women would want ostrich feathers for their hats and they became really really expensive and then the bubble burst and all these ostrich farmers u mostly in Africa I think went bust. Yeah, they called the plenary trade and all kinds of shorebirds and and um yeah, it was a it's hard to picture now that you could just without regulation in coastal areas ...
