Ethereum Scaling & Decentralization - Ethereum aims to optimize its stack for validators to verify rather than execute, potentially reaching gigagas capacity and approximately 10,000 TPS [1] - Lean Ethereum proposes zk proofs in under 12 seconds with on-prem provers around 10 kW, enhancing decentralization [1] - The roadmap includes EthProofs race, a four-phase path to mandatory proofs, and EIP-7938 targeting three-times-a-year gas adjustments [1] - Native rollups could potentially remove gas ceilings for Layer 2 solutions [1] - Fossil is mentioned in the context of seconds-level finality and post-quantum signatures [1] Sponsors & Compensation - Bit Digital (NASDAQ: BTBT) is mentioned as having an ETH treasury [1] - Bankless is being compensated by Bit Digital (NASDAQ BTBT) for promoting their company and BTBT with a one-time cash payment [1] Resources & Disclosures - Justin Drake of the Ethereum Foundation is a key resource [1] - Lean Ethereum is further detailed in a blog post on ethereum.org [1] - Investment disclosures are available on bankless.com [1]

Technology & Scalability - Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin highlights PeerDAS as Fusaka's core feature, enabling data availability scaling by allowing nodes to verify and reconstruct blocks without storing full data [1] - PeerDAS is considered key to Layer 2 (L2) scaling and eventually Layer 1 (L1) scaling for Ethereum [1] Future Outlook - Blob counts will initially rise conservatively [1]

Fusaka will fix this. But also, safety first is of the utmost importance for Fusaka. The core feature, PeerDAS, is trying to do something pretty unprecedented: have a live blockchain that does not require any single node to download the full data. The way PeerDAS works is that each node only asks for a small number of "chunks", as a way of probabilistically verifying that more than 50% of chunks are available. If more than 50% of chunks are available, then the node theoretically can download those chunks, and ...
