We should be open to revisiting whole beacon/execution client separation thing.Running two daemons and getting them to talk to each other is far more difficult than running one daemon. Our goal is to make the self-sovereign way of using ethereum have good UX. In many cases that means running your own node. The current approach to running your own node adds needless complexity.Short-term, maybe we want some more standardized basic wrapper that lets you install dockers of any client and make them talk to each ...

American Airlines flight 965 from Miami to Kelly Colombia was on its descent. On the landing approach, the pilot had to select the next navigation radio fix which was called Roso R O Z O which was shown by a R on the pilot's dashboard. However, the flight management system database also had another navigation fix which was called Romeo and the pilot pressed R.That Romeo would take the pilot to a nearby airport 150 mi away and Roso would actually land to where it was intended. However, that was not the case ...

## Improve UXWe often make the mistake of thinking about "improving UX" and "improving [user-layer] security" as being two separate domains. In reality though, they are a tightly interconnected tradeoff space. It's not UX vs security, it's improving the UX of security (or improving the security of usage patterns that already have good UX).AA (8141) and FOCIL are two major EIPs targeted for Hegota, and I talked about their value here:https://t.co/rkzDqxnQOXTheir goal is to take flows that are already possibl ...

We believe users shouldn't have to choose between decentralized tech with a terrible UX and centralized tech with a decent UX.Dash is engineered to have a next-level user experience without sacrificing any security or decentralization fundamentals. We have the killer recipe for mass adoption. 🧑‍🍳robbie (@robbie_rollup):I asked Joel from @Dashpay, what founders and investors should build or back right now.He says building in crypto means solving two big problems: https://t.co/TLDXhRJQOt ...

Example: your code works, but it’s unusable until a good UX is built.Example: your policy works, but it’s unpopular unless it’s explained properly.Example: your medicine works, but you need to give it a catchy name to get it prescribed. These are really all the same problem. Making it work is the backend, making it pretty is the frontend. Do both or fail. That said: it’s easier to add frontend optics than to invent backend substance, which is why the advice to focus on substance first actually is good advice. ...
How to shop the internet like a grocery store | Bridget Stuger | TEDxBU
TEDx Talks· 2025-12-01 18:00
[Music] Imagine a grocery store employee getting lost trying to show you where something is. Frustrating, right. I know. And for that reason, I have to confess. I spent my college years leading customers astray at Whole Foods. After graduating, I began my career in web design, yet found myself just as lost navigating the internet.Maybe I'm bad at picking jobs. Or maybe this confusion pointed to something deeper. One master's degree later, with the experience of working in tech and retail under my belt, I've ...

User Experience & Performance - Users prioritize the capacity and latency improvements that chains can achieve, leading to better apps and UX [1] - Chains settling to Ethereum can offer performance identical to any L1 but with reduced overhead (consensus) [1] Security & Trust - While chains aim for security parity or improvement over time, this is not the primary concern for users [2] - Existing L2s have a permissioned multisig that can override the bridge contract without notice [2] - Escape hatch is a property of the bridge, not the L2 itself [2] Technical Feasibility - There is no engineering blocker to build a bridge on Solana [2]

This options v perps debate reminders me of the NFT loan battle between SharkyFi and Citrus on Solana.SharkyFi largely won that battle because they took an expressive vehicle (loans) and made it dead-simple by fixing all loan parameters."Do you want to lend/borrow at these rates? Yes? Done."You literally just came to the platform and clicked a button.Other platforms, like Citrus, competed by offering completely configurable parameters:→ LTV→ Duration→ InterestAll whatever you wanted to set.Objectively "bett ...

Market Trend - The market has enough maximally decentralized chains, indicating that this vertical is largely won [1] - Chain and asset abstraction will drive distribution vehicles (apps, wallets, etc) towards performant environments as the market expands [1] Profitability & Valuation - Increased profits for apps are crucial [1] - Asset valuation in the ecosystem will be dictated by moneyness elements, trending towards stablecoin denominations and profit-generating applications [2] User Experience (UX) - Objectively better UX is a key factor [2] - Convenience, specifically dollar denominations, is important [2]
