France-based biscuit maker Aux Trois Cigognes Biscuiteries has announced the acquisition of its local peer, La Mère Poulard. La Mère Poulard produces butter biscuits such as shortbreads, galettes, and different cookies, including a type of French butter cookie, called Palets Bretons.
