ACCIONA Energía has commenced supplying renewable energy from its Logrosan biomass plant located in Caceres, Spain, to the grid. The plant has a capacity of 50 megawatts (MW) and is expected to produce 380 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity per year, avoiding more than 187,000 tonnes (t) of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
