In May, inflation rose by 2.4% yearover-year and.1% month over month. That is roughly in line with expectations. Just to put that 2.4% number in context, what we're talking about here is prices rising by 2.4% between May of this year and May of last year. And that year-over-year data point is a bit of a tick up from what we saw in the last month of April at 2.3%.But you can see that all things considered that is still a vast improvement from some of the 3% figures we had seen in the months prior. ...
