Why this isn't the top: everyone on CT is saying it's the top, and CT is never right.Thank you for your attention to this matter! ...

It's honestly as simple as new mechanisms not being different-enough to revive the launchpads category.Even with mods, they're a known game and won't hit the same dopamine receptors. That's why NFT strategies kicked off for a minute:Old game bad. New game (and rules) good.jez (blast era) (@izebel_eth):@paik_michael i shoot down new token launcher ideas because imho ppls responses to bundles/scams isnt looking for a new mechanism to prevent itits to simply stop participatingnft 2023 days imho ...

Blockchain Comparison - The analysis compares various blockchain chains based on decentralization, performance, and distribution, using a 1-10 scoring system [1] - Tempo is considered to have excellent distribution due to its affiliation with Paradigm and Stripe [1] - Monad is expected to be more decentralized out of the box compared to most offerings, while maintaining similar performance [1] - Plasma is viewed as having lower performance and distribution due to its permissioned validator set and association with Tether [2] - Hyperliquid is highly performant but has a closed validator set and limited extra-industry affiliation, resulting in lower distribution [2] - BNB and Base are seen as relying heavily on distribution due to their exchange arms, but lack decentralization [2] - Ethereum excels in decentralization but has lower performance; its distribution benefits from its longevity and traditional finance adoption [3] - Solana strikes a balance between performance, distribution, and decentralization, despite hardware requirements for validators [3] - MegaETH is expected to have the highest performance ceiling but may have a low-count, permissioned block builder set and normal distribution for a crypto-native project [3]

My notes:1. Dankrad has been one of the more-aggressive "scale the L1" advocates of recent years, so losing him as a voice is not-awesome for what I view as the most value-accretive roadmap for Ethereum.2. Losing him to Tempo (the Stripe+Paradigm L1) is doubly-bad, even if you buy into "it's all EVM bro" narrative. It's same-same as Max going to Solana, but bigger. At least he's staying on as a contributor.3. I do not believe in the "it's all EVM bro" narrative. Tempo, Avalanche, Binance, Monad et al will c ...

Oracle Integration & Data Accessibility - MegaETH integrates Chainlink data streams as a native precompile, placing the oracle within the execution environment [1] - This native oracle integration aims to eliminate information asymmetry in DeFi by providing simultaneous, real-time market data access to all users, regardless of location or status [1][2][7] - Chainlink's infrastructure secures $100 billion and $25 trillion transaction volume [1] Validation & Decentralization - MegaETH employs stateless validation, where validators receive a "witness" (cryptographic proof of data) instead of storing terabytes of state [2] - Validation requires minimal hardware (2 cores, 1GB RAM, zero storage), enabling broader participation and addressing the decentralization challenges faced by other high-performance chains [4] - The sequencer pushes 100 thousand transactions per second (100k tps) [2] Security & Client Diversity - MegaETH utilizes dual-client validation, with both MegaETH's stateless validators and Pi Squared's KEVM independently validating each block [5] - Disagreement between the two clients results in instant rejection, enhancing security [5] Implications for DeFi & Web3 - The integration of native Chainlink and stateless validation removes infrastructure-related excuses for poor user experience or scalability in DeFi applications [8] - The industry anticipates that the removal of technical constraints will foster creativity and drive the development of consumer applications that can compete with Web2 experiences [9]
