RIO & BHP to Build Electric Smelting Furnace Plant to Lower Emissions

Rio Tinto (RIO) has joined forces with BHP Group (BHP) and BlueScope to develop Australia’s largest ironmaking electric smelting furnace (ESF) pilot plant in Western Australia.
