Core Viewpoint - The National Fire Rescue Administration, Ministry of Public Security, and State Administration for Market Regulation have jointly issued a work plan to conduct a comprehensive quality and safety rectification of fire safety products nationwide from July to December this year, aiming to prevent and resolve quality safety risks and enhance the regulatory framework for fire safety products [1] Group 1: Focus Areas of the Rectification - The rectification focuses on over 20 types of fire safety products closely related to public safety and firefighting effectiveness, including portable fire extinguishers, filtering self-rescue breathing apparatus, sprinkler heads, and fire doors [1] - The initiative covers various sectors including production, circulation, usage, and certification testing [1] Group 2: Regulatory Measures - The plan includes six main tasks: enforcing quality safety responsibilities, enhancing key regulatory oversight across all sectors, standardizing the conduct of certification and testing institutions, increasing the crackdown on illegal activities, improving the quality safety regulatory mechanism, and innovating regulatory methods [1] - A multi-departmental collaboration mechanism will be established to effectively curb the increase of counterfeit and substandard fire safety products from the source and improve the overall quality and safety level of fire safety products [1] Group 3: Implementation Requirements - Local departments are required to incorporate this rectification into their key work agenda, strengthen tracking and evaluation, and ensure the implementation of the main tasks [1]
