Group 1 - Vietnam is at a critical development stage aiming for sustainable growth through technological innovation and digital transformation, with semiconductors identified as a strategic technology industry [1] - The Vietnamese government has implemented several important policies, including the 57th resolution on technological innovation and national digital breakthrough development, the Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Development Strategy, and the Human Resource Development Plan for the Semiconductor Industry [1] - Vietnam is committed to providing favorable conditions for international companies and organizations, including UK partners, to expand cooperation, research, production, and business in Vietnam [1] Group 2 - Representatives from both Vietnam and the UK engaged in in-depth discussions on semiconductor industry development plans, activity schemes, and cooperation potential [2] - The UK representatives introduced semiconductor materials and critical mineral analysis manufacturing solutions, sharing research, training, and cooperation in chip design, semiconductor materials, and photonic devices [2] - The Vietnamese participants expressed intentions to strengthen cooperation with the UK in semiconductor R&D and human resource training, aiming for deeper involvement in the global supply chain [2]
