Core Viewpoint - The 28th Beijing-Taipei Technology Forum highlighted the importance of collaboration in the development of the new energy smart connected vehicle industry, emphasizing the release of the "Beijing-Taipei New Energy Smart Connected Vehicle High-Quality Development Cooperation Initiative" aimed at fostering high-quality development in the automotive sector [1] Group 1: Initiative and Collaboration - The initiative focuses on four key areas: strengthening technological research and development cooperation, enhancing industrial ecosystem collaboration, improving application scenario cooperation, and fostering talent cultivation [1] - The goal is to promote the transformation of technological achievements in the automotive industry and support the growth of innovative enterprises in the Beijing-Taipei automotive sector [1] Group 2: Infrastructure Development - Since the launch of the high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) has completed the intelligent transformation of 1,605 intersections, integrating them into a unified cloud control and safety monitoring platform [2] - The smart city infrastructure now covers an area of 600 square kilometers, establishing a leading "vehicle-road-cloud integration" environment for smart connected vehicles [2] Group 3: Industry Growth and Investment - The automotive industry has become a cornerstone of the BDA's economy, featuring a high-end automotive cluster led by Beijing Benz and a new energy smart connected vehicle cluster with companies like Xiaomi Auto and BAIC New Energy [3] - The BDA has attracted over 60 Taiwanese enterprises with a cumulative investment of nearly 1 billion USD since the first Taiwanese company established operations there in 1993 [3]
