Group 1 - The 2025 Beijing Cultural Forum was held, focusing on the digital empowerment of cultural heritage [1] - Dunhuang Academy has been exploring digital preservation since the late 1980s, aiming for the permanent preservation and sustainable use of Dunhuang Grottoes [1] - As of now, Dunhuang Academy has completed digital collection of 300 caves, data processing for 200 caves, 3D reconstruction of 212 caves, 45 colored sculptures, and 16 major sites, with a total data volume reaching 500TB [1] Group 2 - The "Digital Dunhuang Resource Library" was launched on May 1, 2016, with an English version available since September 2017, allowing global sharing of high-definition images and panoramic tours of 30 caves [1] - The resource library has been accessed by 78 countries with over 20 million visits [1] - In December 2022, the "Digital Dunhuang Open Material Library" was launched, providing over 6,500 digital resources for safe and efficient cultural resource flow [1] Group 3 - To restore lost Dunhuang artifacts overseas, Dunhuang Academy launched the "Digital Cave of Scriptures" cloud game and database platform, recreating the process of discovery and loss [2] - The Academy has organized over 50 digital Dunhuang exhibitions, promoting the dissemination of Dunhuang culture [2] - Future plans include further exploration of digital resources and utilizing high-tech display methods to enhance the international influence of Chinese culture [2]
