Group 1 - The core viewpoint of the report is that the public in the Asia-Pacific region recognizes the economic community as a shared destiny and expects cooperation among countries to build a vibrant, harmonious, and prosperous Asia-Pacific family [1][2] - Over 80% of respondents acknowledge the positive role of APEC in promoting regional economic development, social progress, and improvement of livelihoods [1] - More than 70% of respondents support their countries' deeper participation in APEC cooperation and express anticipation for the establishment of an open, vibrant, resilient, and peaceful Asia-Pacific community by 2040 [1] Group 2 - As an important member of APEC, China actively engages in practical cooperation with other members, sharing high-quality development opportunities and contributing positively to regional peace and stability [1] - Nearly 60% of respondents believe that China plays a significant role in promoting sustainable economic growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region [1] - 83% of respondents consider China's development experience worth learning from for their own countries [1]
