Novo Nordisk (NVO) announced that it will acquire three manufacturing sites from Novo Holdings A/S for an upfront payment of $11 billion to expand its manufacturing capacity for obesity treatments.The announcement comes pursuant to Novo Holdings’ agreement to acquire global contract development and manufacturing organization Catalent, Inc.
