iRobot narrows its loss, but after-hours stock jolt evaporates

Shares of iRobot Corp. initially jumped 10% then cooled in after-hours trading Wednesday after the company posted quarterly results that topped analysts’ revenue and earnings estimates. IRobot IRBT, +4.30% reported a fiscal fourth-quarter net loss of $63.6 million, or$2.28 a share, compared with a net loss of $84.1 million, or$3.07 a share, in the same quarter a year ago.
