Microsoft invests $135 billion in OpenAI. 💰

Open AI has completed its recapitalization. That means Microsoft and OpenAI have now finalized an agreement. So basically OpenAI which has existed as a nonprofit and a forprofit now is simplifying that corporate structure.The nonprofit will remain in the control of the forprofit. The for-profit entity is valued at about $130 billion and Microsoft will get a 27% stake in that nonprofit entity.
