Group 2: Preparation Methods of COFs - Common methods for synthesizing COFs include solvent thermal synthesis, ionothermal synthesis, mechanochemical synthesis, and microwave-assisted synthesis [3]. - Solvent thermal synthesis is the most widely used method, involving a mixture of reactants in a sealed environment at temperatures between 80-200°C for 2-9 days [3]. - Ionothermal synthesis utilizes molten salts or ionic liquids to create ionothermal conditions, while mechanochemical synthesis involves grinding monomers to form new covalent bonds [3]. - Microwave-assisted synthesis accelerates reactions through strong interactions between electromagnetic waves and moving charges [3].
