Group 2: Compensation and Funding - Senior PIs will receive an annual salary ranging from 1 million to 1.5 million RMB, while Junior PIs will earn between 500,000 and 600,000 RMB, with a maximum personal income tax of 15% [7]. - Start-up funding for Senior PIs is between 6 million and 8 million RMB, while Junior PIs will receive 2 million RMB [8].
