Current account switching in the UK has picked up modestly in the third quarter. Specifically, there were 265,083 switches for the three months to the end of September, up 7% y-o-y. But for the year to date, total switches of 704.407 represents a 20% fall compared with the first three quarters of 2024.In the past 12 months (1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025) there were 1,013,697 switches.
