Naturantypie: a new art form inspired by nature | Maximilian Prüfer | TEDxLondon GIS
TEDx Talks· 2026-03-18 16:30
When I was a child lying in a meadow, I saw a small frog right in front of me. We both stared at each other through the blades of grass. In that moment, I became completely absorbed by one simple question. What does the tiny fingers feel like. So, because I knew the tongue can magnify objects, I came up with this wonderful idea and put it in my mouth. I could feel his tiny hands gripping the sides of my tongue as if he was afraid I might swallow him.I felt his little fingers tapping and sensing like a panick ...
Surviving Is Not the End | Viliam Gabria | TEDxHumenné
TEDx Talks· 2026-03-05 16:49
Vive a Lublino, in Polonia. E la moglie comincia a insistere, a dire "Bene, allora vai, no, vai dove. " "A praga. " "Ma che sei matta.Ma è pericoloso, de ...

RT Tesla Owners Silicon Valley (@teslaownersSV)🚨Musk’s Core Philosophy. Why he builds companies?“The overall goal of my companies is to maximize the probability that civilization has a great future.”“We should view consciousness and life as precarious and delicate… like a tiny candle in a vast darkness that could easily go out.”“That’s why it’s important to make life multi-planetary.” ...

12th क ...

RT Nick Szabo (@NickSzabo4)Interestingly enough though, if e.g. long inflation is a correct cosmological theory, even pessimistic creationist estimates imply that life would have arisen spontaneously a vast number of times in the universe -- albeit the odds of it arising in a given (from an arbitrary point in the universe) *observable* universe would be extremely low: such could be the vast difference in size between the total universe and the miniscule fraction of it that we can observe, under long inflati ...

How Death Changed My Life | Cristián Arriagada | TEDxFrutillar
TEDx Talks· 2025-11-17 17:58

Been thinking about this yesterday.Came to this conclusion:I don't believe that life in general ever peaks. It just peaks in certain areas of life.I definitely think I'm currently peaking in some of them. But there are also some areas that I didn't tap into yet at all (family, children, legacy).Of course, this also means that you will miss the peaks in areas of life that you experience early on and that are impossible to get back.LifeXeer (@Xeer):met a friend over the weekend who was an officer in the milit ...
