According to SolanaFloor, Solana core development team Anza stated that during last night’s large-scale liquidation event, the Solana network underwent its biggest stress test to date, reaching a peak throughput of 100,000 TPS while remaining fully stable. The Agave validator client handled 6× peak traffic and 60 million compute units (CU) per block without any performance degradation. https://t.co/vmJgoB1cYj ...

There is a feeling now, in every corner of this wild experiment, that the walls are dissolving. You can hear it in the baremetal validator hums at 3am, see it in a memecoin chart that moves like a live wire, feel it when billions slip onchain without ceremony, without permission. It’s not a battle. Not in any military sense. There is no enemy here. The banks, the funds, the degens, the builders, they’re all swept up in the same current. This is everyone’s push towards self-sovereignty. For an open financial s ...

Jump’s Firedancer team proposed SIMD-0370 to remove Solana’s fixed compute unit block limit after Alpenglow. Instead of a static cap (60M CUs, rising to 100M in SIMD-0286), block producers pack max transactions, and slower validators skip blocks. This drives a cycle: producers earn more, lagging validators lose rewards and upgrade, raising network capacity. Solana’s throughput would scale with validator power, not fixed limits. https://t.co/lc9eglkqEQ ...
