Group 1 - The third "Vibrant·ESG" Innovation Forum was held in Shanghai, focusing on green transformation and high-quality development, with participants from various sectors including regulatory bodies, leading enterprises, multinational companies, financial institutions, and academia [1] - Wang Zhongmin, former vice chairman of the National Social Security Fund Council, emphasized that integrating internal and external markets through smart contracts will enhance the ESG framework, impacting computing power markets, green electricity markets, and infrastructure [1] - Lei Yao, deputy director of the Financial Research Institute of the People's Bank of China, highlighted the need for financial markets to improve pricing capabilities regarding environmental and climate factors, and to enhance standardization, information disclosure, product innovation, international cooperation, and regulation [1] Group 2 - Zhang Jianyu, chief development director of the Green Belt and Road International Alliance, stated that the green "Belt and Road" initiative is becoming a key pathway for achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals globally [1] - Li Jin, deputy general manager of the Shanghai Environment Energy Exchange, called for the application of digital technology tools to better support carbon data acquisition, processing, analysis, and usage for ESG and achieving dual carbon goals [2] - The forum achieved carbon neutrality certification by offsetting the carbon equivalent generated during the event through verified voluntary emission reductions [2]
