The dating app industry is in a rough spot. Bumble announced a 30% layoff of its entire workforce, about 240 people in total.And the market is sadly but not surprisingly embracing the decision, with its shares jumping up by 20% following the announcement. Just last month, Bumble's rival, Match, laid off 13% of its own staff in a similar cost-cutting measure.
