A fund managed by Fondo Italiano d’Investimento has picked up a majority stake in Alimenta Produzioni, an Italian baked goods manufacturer. In a statement on 9 January, the private-equity firm said it is backing Alimenta through its Fondo Italiano Agri&Food Fund (FIAF). Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.
