New Jersey-based pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) hit top-line expectations in today’s annual earnings call, but slightly undershot with its adjusted earnings results. The company reported a reported 6.5% year-on-year growth in sales of $85.2 billion but the full-year earnings per share (EPS) depicted a different trend, decreasing by 15.3% to $5.20 a share. Toyota’s chairman has fired back at criticism the carmaker has been too slow to adopt electric vehicles by stating they will never take more than 30% of the market. United Airlines upbeat despite grounding of Boeing MAX 9s

United Airlines warned losses this quarter will be larger than expected due to the latest grounding of Boeing jets, but was still upbeat over prospects for the remainder of the year. The airline said that due to the Boeing problems, it now expects a loss in the range of 35 to 85 cents a share in its first quarter of 2024 assuming its MAX 9 planes are grounded until the end of January. Cornerstone FS PLC (AIM:CSFS) told investors it is expanding its customer offering with the launch of a corporate card scheme with Mastercard planned for the third quarter of the year.  Under the agreement signed with the card payment network processor, the AIM-listed company will be able to issue commercial cards for its corporate customers with branding from Cornerstone and Mastercard.
