Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Corina Machado secretly left Venezuela to accept her award in Oslo but was forced to miss the ceremony due to bad weather. Her daughter accepted the award on her behalf. Machado got out of Venezuela on Tuesday with help from members of President Nicolas Maduro’s regime, according to a person familiar with the matter.
