Group 1 - The Hainan Coast Guard successfully completed the 2025 annual island law enforcement inspection, which lasted two months and involved handling 16 administrative cases and 6 criminal cases, rescuing 180 individuals and 35 vessels, thereby effectively maintaining the safety of territorial waters and important facilities [1] - The inspection utilized a comprehensive approach combining land, sea, air, and space, involving various marine-related departments to conduct on-site checks, inquiries, and document reviews, while also providing suggestions on marine resource development and ecological protection [1] - Over 20 legal education sessions were organized to raise public awareness about laws related to marine area usage, island protection, and marine environmental protection, enhancing the community's understanding of legal marine and island usage [1] Group 2 - Hainan Island has a total of 696 uninhabited islands and 20 territorial sea baseline points, with the establishment and maintenance of these baseline markers being crucial for safeguarding national maritime rights, strengthening coastal defense, and enhancing marine environmental protection [2] - The law enforcement inspection is part of the implementation of the "Blue Shield 2025" special law enforcement action, aimed at comprehensively understanding the protection and utilization of uninhabited and special purpose islands in the jurisdiction [2]
