Core Viewpoint - The first integrated demonstration project for green hydrogen production, storage, and utilization at a port in China has been launched at the Weifang Port area of Shandong Port, supporting the development of a leading smart green port and providing a replicable technical path for energy transition in national ports [1] Group 1: Project Overview - The project utilizes four 6.7MW wind power units to establish a hydrogen refueling station with a capacity of 500kg/12h and an electrolytic water hydrogen production station with a capacity of 200Nm3/h [1] - The hydrogen refueling station can store 300kg of compressed hydrogen daily, meeting the hydrogen demand of 10 hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks in the port area [1] - The hydrogen production station is equipped with electrolyzers and purification devices, producing 90 tons of green hydrogen annually [1] Group 2: Energy Efficiency and Cost Reduction - The project converts "abandoned electricity" from wind power into hydrogen energy, consuming 5 million kWh of green electricity annually, which effectively reduces the electricity cost for hydrogen production by over 1.65 million yuan [1] - The Bohai Bay Port is actively promoting the Weifang Port experience to advance green transformation across multiple ports [1] Group 3: Future Development - The port aims to deepen the integration of port and energy, constructing a replicable transformation model for future developments [1]
