Group 1 - The green regeneration technology for waste lubricating oil developed by the team at China University of Petroleum (East China) has been authorized to Chongqing Runyu New Energy Co., Ltd. to build a 100,000 tons/year industrial demonstration facility [2] - The regeneration oil yield exceeds 98%, which is 15 percentage points higher than conventional technologies, achieving international leading levels in both oil yield and continuous operation cycle [2][3] - China generates approximately 30 million tons of waste mineral oil annually, with over 8 million tons being waste lubricating oil, which poses environmental hazards but has high recycling value [2] Group 2 - The innovative process developed by the team includes three key technologies: a suspension bed hydrogenation pretreatment technology, a dispersed nano-catalyst for efficient conversion of various additives, and a harmless disposal technology achieving zero emissions of waste gas and water [3] - The technology is currently in the stage of large-scale promotion and has been successfully applied in a 50,000 tons/year industrial demonstration facility in Xinjiang, marking the first domestic full hydrogen regeneration technology for waste lubricating oil [3] - The new process effectively addresses industry pain points by achieving high regeneration rates, long operation cycles, and environmental friendliness, thus realizing resource utilization [3]
