Moderna is to expand its US manufacturing capabilities with the onshoring of drug product manufacture to its existing Moderna Technology Center (MTC) in Norwood in the state of Massachusetts, in a move involving an investment of more than $140m. Through this onshoring, the company will now operate complete end-to-end mRNA medicines manufacturing across the country.
