Group 1 - The Jianghe Supplementary Han Project, a major water conservancy project undertaken by China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group, has officially entered the shaft construction phase with the successful completion of the first blasting operation at Shaft No. 15 [1][3] - Shaft No. 15 is one of only four shafts along the entire line, designed to a depth of 309 meters and a net cross-section diameter of 7.8 meters, facing significant geological challenges including 84% Class III surrounding rock and 16% Class IV and V fractured rock layers [3] - The project team has established a comprehensive safety assurance system and conducted multiple specialized meetings to optimize construction organization plans, ensuring that all necessary permits and safety assessments are in place before construction begins [3] Group 2 - The Jianghe Supplementary Han Project is the first project to commence under the South-to-North Water Diversion follow-up initiative, connecting the Yangtze River, Han River basins, and North China, which is crucial for the high-quality development of the national water network [4] - Upon completion, the project will enhance the water supply channel from the Yangtze River to the north, improve the supply guarantee rate of the Middle Route Project, and address water resource allocation issues in the Han River basin [4] - The project is expected to play a significant role in ensuring national water security, promoting economic and social development, and constructing a new development pattern [4]
