Group 1 - The Civil Aviation Administration of China announced the national civil airport throughput ranking, with Chengdu maintaining its position as the "third aviation city" in China, following Shanghai and Beijing [1][2] - In 2025, the total passenger throughput of Chengdu's two airports, Chengdu Tianfu and Chengdu Shuangliu, exceeded 90 million, reaching 90.206 million [1][2] - The national civil transport airports achieved a record high in three major production indicators: passenger throughput of 1.529 billion, cargo and mail throughput of 21.864 million tons, and aircraft takeoffs and landings of 12.448 million [1] Group 2 - Chengdu Tianfu Airport ranked fifth in passenger throughput with 56.687 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%, while Chengdu Shuangliu Airport ranked twelfth with 33.519 million, increasing by 3.4% [2] - The number of "ten-million-level" airports in China increased to 41, with the highest passenger throughput recorded at Shanghai Pudong Airport, reaching 84.99 million [1][2] - In terms of cargo and mail throughput, Chengdu's total reached 1.17 million tons, with Chengdu Shuangliu Airport at 735.6 thousand tons (up 14.5%) and Chengdu Tianfu Airport at 434.6 thousand tons (up 12.9%) [2] Group 3 - Chengdu Tianfu Airport ranked fifth in aircraft takeoff and landing volume, maintaining its position from 2024 [3]
