RT Nick Szabo (@NickSzabo4)@svenesonn @Dallas_Brodie If it was a sin God would have warned us about it in the Bible. He didn't. In fact the Bible is full of God and his followers showing preferences to some ἔθνη and disfavor towards others. ...

MSNBC· 2025-10-15 16:02
Trump, when I'm president, we're going to make Jesus great again. Okay. Okay. We're not going to turn the other cheek anymore, people. All right. Verily, I say, do unto others before they can do unto you, because they will bigly. All right. All right. Believe me, he says he's Jesus of Nazareth, but he's born in Bethlehem.Which is it. We don't know. We don't know. That was actor, comedian, and writer John Fugal Sang. Raised by a former Franciscan brother and Catholic nun. Fugal Sang has long used his onscreen p ...

RT Brandon Taylor Moore (@LetsGoBrando45)It amazes me how many Christians will support evil to be BLESSED, based on a BIBLE VERSE THAT DOES NOT EXIST.I will delete my X account if anyone can show me a legitimate Bible verse, from a widely accepted Bible, that states the following:“Those who bless Israel will be blessed, those who curse Israel will be cursed.” ...
John Fugelsang: Right-wing Christians use the Bible ‘as a prop’ & ignore Jesus’ message
MSNBC· 2025-10-04 19:15
Societal Trends & Religious Landscape - The right-wing has transformed a movement of compassion into a self-serving clique, leading young people away from religion [1] - Christianity has declined from 90% to approximately 66.67% of the population, with regular church attendance below 50% [6] Critique of Right-Wing Christianity - Right-wing Christianity is criticized for hypocrisy, focusing on issues Jesus never emphasized, such as persecuting gay people and criminalizing abortion [3][4] - They exploit a persecution narrative, claiming to be a minority despite controlling institutions [9] - Right-wing Christians prioritize earthly power over humility and servant leadership, contradicting core Christian values [10] Fundamentalism Analysis - Fundamentalists, regardless of religion, share traits like sexism, sexual hang-ups, acceptance of violence, focus on punishment, and a victimhood narrative [11][12][13] - They use religion to prove their superiority rather than to become better people [11] Political Implications - Donald Trump gained support from right-wing Christians by promising them earthly power and playing into their persecution narrative [8][9] - The criminalization of migrants contradicts the Bible's command to welcome strangers [14][15]

Religious & Ethical Analysis - The document argues that if "race" were a sin, the Bible would have addressed it, and prominent theologians would have warned against it [1] - It suggests that the Bible does address genetic relatedness and its correlation with cultural characteristics, using the Greek word "ethnos" (nation) and "sperma" (seed) as examples [1] - The document points out that the Bible contains passages where one tribe is treated favorably over another, with God's approval [1]

RT Nick Szabo (@NickSzabo4)If the concept of "race" could define a sin then the Bible would have discussed it. If it was ever going to be an important sin then Chrysotom or Augustine or Aquinas or Luther would have discovered it in the Bible and warned us. But neither the Bible nor these theologians did. Or do you think God intentionally hid important things from us, leaving them out of both the Bible and the great traditional saints and commentators on the Bible, and wants us to be damned for things He did ...

RT Glenn Lawrence (@mrGlennLawrence)@MattWalshBlog What if I told you that nowhere in the Bible does it call polygyny a sin? And for anyone just call it, a sin is actually adding to the Bible, which is a sin in itself, so let me ask you, Matt is your position on polygyny based on a religious interpretation ...
